Paradise can't get imagine getting by without an appointment system

There are eight hard class professionals working in the studio and they could no longer imagine doing it without an appointment system.

Paradise Tattoo & Piercing, a business specialising in tattoos and piercings, started using booksalon PRO in August 2021. The owners Jussi Ranta and Kalle Koo have been working together since 2003. In addition to the owners, the business employs six tough professionals: three tattooists and three piercers.

Ranta says he could no longer imagine doing it without an appointment system because the store has several dozen customers a day.

THE SECTOR IS CHANGING - TATTOOS NO LONGER HAVE STIGMA

“The sector has developed a lot over the last few years, as television programmes related to tattoos removed prejudices related to the sector. Tattoos have been lifted out of subcultures and become much more common among all kinds of people. The number of industry artists has probably increased tenfold in the last twenty years. Tattoo artists specialise more in their own genre, making it easier for customers to find a suitable talent, Ranta describes.

In piercings, the clientele has also changed a lot. Traditional earrings are being taken more and more! In our industry, the supply of gold and stone jewellery has also increased a lot in recent years, Ranta adds.

“Booksalon has worked nicely in our shop. In the beginning it took time to learn the system, but we always got help when we needed. The exchange of the system was tense, but in the end, it went easier than I had expected! The accounting reporting and accounts work without problems, Ranta says.

Booksalon offers free deployment guidance. In order to save the entrepreneur's time, it’s possible to grant access to the accountant to the booksalon system.

The services of piercers, as well as gift card sales, are carried out through booksalon's service on the company's website. Tattooists, at least for the time being, are recording their customers' bookings in the booksalon's appointment calendar. Ranta came to a solution, as it is difficult to determine in advance the duration of tattoo periods, which is very characteristic of the sector.

Paradise also benefits from the work shift management and reporting of the booksalon system. Ranta says that adding products and services and modifying them has been effortless.

“Customer service has been good, and help has been available whenever we have needed it. It has also been nice to see that the booksalon was in contact with us at the beginning to make sure that everything was in order, or if there were any questions. We felt that we were really cared about.
